I have been awarded a £1.3M grant from the Royal Society for a University Research Fellowship and will move my group to the University of Birmingham to start a faculty position in 2024 !
Published in PRL, Editors' Suggestion, we proposed two interferometry methods to probe non-Abelian charges of band nodes in experiments! See our paper , TCM highlight. This was the thesis project of my masters student Ollie.
I am grateful for the European Union for funding my Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship which has now been successfully completed. See Publications for the results of this project.
Our new paper on novel anomalous non-Abelian Floquet phases is published in Nature Communications. See Departmental highlight.
All UK undergrads, I am offering a Summer Widening Participation (paid) Internship. Application deadline 11 March 2024. Check for eligibility and details.
Interested prospective PhD and Master's students, email me and see Post-graduate Admissions 2024 for application.
With my Master's student Miguel: See our new paper for edge dynamics in anomalous Floquet topological phases, confirmed in Munich in experiment!
It has been an honour to be a Royal Society Newton International Fellow, and I am grateful to the Royal Society for their support in all aspects! I have now started a European fellowship.
For Cambridge students, I'm offering a summer project in 2022, see UROP website.
Great opportunity to gain research experience while being employed by the department, also to show with your phd applications!

To apply, send me your cover email with CV attached, by 8th March for full consideration.

With my Master's student Cameron and Nigel: A new geometric description of SU(N) in terms of Nested Spheres!
Published in Phys.Rev.Res., 2022.
I have been elected as a Senior Postdoctorol Researcher by Trinity College Cambridge, 2021.
Our paper for dynamical observables of topological Euler class is published in Phys. Rev. Lett., 2020, directly implemented in trapped ions!
Our paper for experimental realisation of an anomalous Floquet topological phase is published in Nature Physics, 2020.
