Research
I'm generally interested in non-equilibrium quantum systems, especially those that involve interactions between light and matter. In particular, I like to delve into the phases of matter that arise in this type of systems, as well as their potential for quantum-enhanced tasks (such as e.g. optical phase sensing). More recently, I've been drawn towards systems undergoing joint unitary and measurement dynamics, and their potential for rapid generation of useful entanglement.
I enjoy working closely with experiments, so many of my past studies were performed having in mind clear implementations in modern quantum platforms such as cold atoms and trapped ions. Currently, I'm interested in broadening my scope to other experimental settings, such as plasmonic nanocavities and TMD materials.
