Research
My research focuses mostly on non-equilibrium quantum systems. In particular, I am interested in how measurements, Floquet (or more general) driving, and dissipation may be leveraged to provide both increased control of quantum many-body systems as well as provide ways to induce new phenomena and phases of matter which are unique to the non-equilibrium setting (e.g. anomalous Floquet topology). Additionally, I have related interests surrounding thermalization and ergodicity breaking in such systems, for example the emergence of many-body localization and Hilbert space fragmentation.
