Research

I am broadly interested in topics at the overlap of non-equilibrium quantum dynamics and quantum information theory. These include (with featured publications):

• The boundary between classically simulable and truly quantum regimes [1]
• Hybrid quantum-classical simulation protocols for characterising phases of many-body systems [2]
• Deeper forms of thermalisation

The overarching aim of my research is understanding the insights quantum simulators (i.e., the currently developing quantum computers) could offer about many-body physics.
